Bottle in maya

This is a series of tutorial in which I try to explain very basic of modeling and texturing.

I take ketchup bottle create it in Maya with the help of EPcurve then revole the result to get final output in NURBS. Convert NURBS to poly for better textuing with the help of UVs. just solve the UVs and take it to photoshop where wuth the help of image I cut label and arrange it on UVs. save that final image and bring it back to Maya and it is done.......

LOTUS TEMPLE is one of the many places where we can be blessed with a collective experience of spiritual enlightenment and the vision to believe in one’s own strength. Equal respect is given to other religious beliefs and regards its believers as the son of the same soil. Such is the greatness of the Indians. Truly said, ‘India is Unity in Diversity’. And it holds power, courage and confidence which can be concluded to our National Emblem….Ashoka Stambh and also follows from it the Indian map. Not to forget, as India is referred as the ‘sone ki chiridya’, ‘The Golden Bird’, keeping this in mind we bring forth the Golden Bird. It gracefully flies with the powerful tri colors which fill in everywhere. And as the colors fade we salute our motherland for her greatness with the statement…

Ring in 3d

Just a sample of ring i create in a Maya using mental ray.

In this first u have to create good light effect for proper shading and then play with mental ray final gather and caustic . I also use HDR to create environment effect

How to rotate cube another step after one step and so on….?

Here is the solution I rotate cube by moving pivot point.

In this tutorial pivot pt. move to one edge to another edge, so we don’t need any extra pivot to rotate cube second time.

The Scorpio was a smaller weapon, more of a sniper weapon than a siege engine, being operated by only one person. The Scorpio was basically a primitive giant crossbow, a 'catapult with bolts', probably first invented by the Greeks, then later adopted and used on a larger scale by the Roman legions. This catapult used a system of springs with torsion, making it possible to obtain very great power and thus a high speed of ejection for the bolts.

This is another war machine; this machine can be a good example of Maya dynamics. In this tutorial I create ‘T” Shape object and put 3 cube on each end and make two of them passive body. Attach two springs to third cube and set the value of spring. This is very simple and fun to create this machine

The onager was a post-classical Roman siege engine, which derived its name from the kicking action of the machine, similar to that of an onager (wild ass). It is a type of catapult that uses te nsional pressure, generally from twisted rope, to store energy for the shot (wikipedia.org).

I try to make that machine with the help of Maya dynamics, I hope you like it.
In this tutorial I first made arm with the help of cube and then arrange dynamic constrain to make it work. Spring played very important part in this simulation, you have to adjust it rest length to make it make properly.

I create waving flag in this tutorial with the help of ncloth (Maya).
Here I just convert poly plane to ncloth and tied (with the help of ncloth constrain) to pole, then just add wind in nucleus node. no need to add extra air or any other field.
